![]() ![]() ![]() There was a new tunable added on PC today that, according to what I've heard, extremely preliminary findings say the tunable may (or not, could be some other issue!) be anti-tamper related, and may have exacerbated crashing issues that already existed since October 2022's original security patch (the famous "qastu" patch), when people first started reporting random, unreproducible (meaning, no specific way to trigger them, they are completely random and may happen at any time, or not at all) crashes where the game just freezes for a second, then crashes to desktop. I've been noticing a few reports, all over Reddit (removed by mods for some reason, this seems to be EXTRA crashing on top of the existing random crashes.), a few on this forum, Steam discussions, and so on about increased crashing post-today's event week tunable update.
